Our passion for design has brought quality and style to New Zealand homes and the fashion industry since the late 1930’s. The Furtex story began with our great-grandfather Arnold Heath, who founded the business in late 1939 under the name of Arnold.M.Heath Ltd. The emphasis turned towards the soft furnishings market in 1981 as the third generation took the reins. Today the company has grown to include three distinct brands – Baya, Ollo and Heirloom.
Furtex remains one of the most celebrated importers, designers and wholesalers of textiles, fur fabrics, and soft furnishings in New Zealand.
